I want to live another life
I want to be someone else
wake up in his body
sleep into his bed.
I want to be his cat
cooning into his arms.
I want to be him
as sophisticated as he is
with his feelings and his heart
I want to think less like him
more what he does.
I want to live another life
get more of him than what I possess.
I want to then dream of me
become his snow
falling on to his chest
form an igloo.
I want to become his silence
and speak out aloud
let this prose be incomplete
more he knows, what it’s about.
